Planning a wedding, just 2 months away, expanding a new business, caring for a new baby, and planning to build a new house, Jessica and Dave needed a website for their wedding.
The Task
The goal of this project was to design and build a website that captured the personalities of Jessica and Dave. Wedding guests, many traveling from elsewhere, needed some guidance about the wedding, how to get to it, where to stay, and what to do in the area.
Our Solution
Working under a tight deadline, based on the date invitations were going out, we built a website with a fresh visual design. We photographed various locations in the area to depict moments in Jessica and Dave's lives, the wedding site, directions, area activities, dining, and accommodations. To promote a sense of community and help with communications, we incorporated a guestbook where guests could trade information, travel plans, etc. We also provided a photo gallery that Jessica and Dave can use to share photos of the event and beyond.
