The Central Vermont Community Land Trust (CVCLT) is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation, formed in 1987, to provide affordable housing based on the community land trust model. CVCLT has an active affordable housing development program, operates a NeighborWorks® Homeownership Center to increase the rate of homeownership in Central Vermont, and provides property management services.
The Task
The existing CVCLT website needed a fresh visual design, more user-friendly navigation and organization, and expanded content to provide Central Vermonters with homeownership and affordable housing services and information.
Our Solution
Teamed with 7th Pixel, we designed and built an eye-catching, easy-to-navigate site with a layout that accommodates a significant amount of content for various purposes. We included a mechanism for users to register for Orientations & Workshops conducted by the organization, a donation feature, and a video clip for download.
