Content Management Systems

A Content Management System (CMS) allows you to maintain all, or part, of your website yourself. On the other hand, if you don’t have the time or inclination to manage your site content yourself, Downhill Media can do it for you.

A CMS is database driven and is located on your web server. So there are no files or software to maintain on your own computer. It also means that you can edit your site from any computer with an Internet connection.

Site Organization

As part of our design discussions, we’ll identify content that’s evergreen (rarely changes) and content that changes frequently. We’ll organize the structure of your website to make the content easy to navigate for visitors to your site and efficient to manage.

Training

Downhill Media will provide training, as needed for using the CMS to manage your site. And, you’ll receive a document describing guidelines for managing your site’s content.
