About Downhill Media

Downhill Media is a web development and marketing communications consulting firm. With over 20 years in corporate communications, public relations, and marketing, I’ve been helping organizations and individuals communicate via the web since 1999.

I’ve worked for corporations, agencies, and as a consultant. My experience spans a wide range of businesses and subject matter, including environmental science and engineering, travel & tourism, resort development/construction, manufacturing, specialty foods, restaurant/hospitality, and Internet/IT related services.

Regardless of the business or topics involved, my role has always centered around communication — in print or online.

How I Got Here

I spent much of my childhood in Vermont. My family was involved in starting and running Jay Peak Resort in the early years where I learned to ski as a small child. After college in Ithaca, New York, I spent 6 years in New York City where I worked as a talent agent and co-produced an Off-Broadway play. Later, after a number of years as a public relations professional in New Jersey, I returned to Vermont to enjoy living in the Green Mountains once again.

Web development is a natural extension of my past communications work and fits nicely into the rural Vermont lifestyle.
